how do you drink it?

its alright, i guess, but i thought about mixing some honey to make it a little sweet. any thoughts?

i put a single packet of splenda in with mine. I typically nuke my water for either a mintue or two mintues. Place my tea bag in. Let it seap until I remember that I made it (usually 15-30 mintues). Then add my splenda.

If you need some packets to sample, I have plenty. I'll be going to the office this afternoon, but can either drop some off or you can come by when you get off work. Just let me know.

But I would say that honey should be fine, too... I dunno.

I'm a Mother's Milk tea expert. I've made it several different ways. I started out making a cup - boiling water, letting the tea bag steep for about 15 minutes, squeezing the tea bag, sweetening with spenda or honey, and enjoying. After a while, I got really tired of the taste (I was drinking A LOT). I started making batches of sweet lactation iced tea - boiling approx. 30 ounces of water, steeping five Mother's Milk tea bags and one fruit flavored tea bag for about 30 minutes, squeezing tea bags, adding honey and a bunch of ice in a pitcher in my fridge. Sipped on it all day, everyday. I just had to remind the others in my household that the pitcher of tea in the fridge was my lactation tea and not for anyone else not interested in increasing milk supply. :LOL

Unlike taking fennugreek & fennell capsules, which generally took me about two days to notice a difference in milk supply, drinking literally gallons of Mother's Milk (I also drink Nursing Mom) tea generally produced results in about three or four days.

But I have to say, I've always had a simply wonderful milk supply, so I guess all the oatmeal, fennugreek, and tea really helps.

The gallons of MM tea I drank did nothing for my supply issues. With fenugreek, on the other hand, I saw a dramatic difference. My body knew right away when I stopped taking that stuff. I took 9 capsules/day, 3 at a time. Just wanted to put that out there.

Has the tea been working?

I sound like a broken record, I know, but you might also want to try one of these tinctures. I use them every day... I'm addicted :LOL

Hope to see you soon.

Mmmm that sounds great. Thanks for sharing!! I tried making it an iced tea so I could drink more...but now I'm definitely going to add a fruit tea bag.

Hey Mamas,
I found a tasty blend made by Vermont company. It's made by a certified herbalist/mama.
I love it and it works magic!!! It comes in a beautful tea tin and is loose tea so you are getting way more tea then you would when you purchase the boxed tea bags. I love it iced or hot.... Also makes fab. ice cubes!!!!

I LOVE it with a little granulated maple sugar - YUMMMMMM

My favorite tea blend is from Earth Mama Angel Baby - super good stuff!
