I've made it several different ways. I started out making a cup - boiling water, letting the tea bag steep for about 15 minutes, squeezing the tea bag, sweetening with spenda or honey, and enjoying. After a while, I got really tired of the taste (I was drinking A LOT). I started making batches of sweet lactation iced tea - boiling approx. 30 ounces of water, steeping five Mother's Milk tea bags and one fruit flavored tea bag for about 30 minutes, squeezing tea bags, adding honey and a bunch of ice in a pitcher in my fridge. Sipped on it all day, everyday.
I just had to remind the others in my household that the pitcher of tea in the fridge was my lactation tea and not for anyone else not interested in increasing milk supply. :LOL

If you need some packets to sample, I have plenty. I'll be going to the office this afternoon, but can either drop some off or you can come by when you get off work. Just let me know. But I would say that honey should be fine, too... I dunno. |

But I have to say, I've always had a simply wonderful milk supply, so I guess all the oatmeal, fennugreek, and tea really helps. |
