Marcia Gay Hardin on The View

Marcia Gay Hardin was talking about her twins on The View today and she said that she BF'ed them! (Don't ask why I was watching The View) She was talking about how she was able to and how great it was. She has been BF'ing for four months. They asked how she did it and she said that she did the football hold. She said it was pretty but that it got the job done. It is hard but rewarding. Yeah Marcia!

Then the male cohost for the day (?) was saying that he fell in love with his wife when she was BF'ing. When the women asked how long Marcia was planning on BF'ing he said that you are supposed to do it for two years. It is important to their development!

Now I could have just been snowed and this was a planned thing because of the whole nurse-in, but at least they have people on that are more educated about BF'ing.

I just saw it, it was great! Except she said she only bf them for 4 months (her twins are now 15 months old.) She said she did her first hild for 10 months. The male co-host, Terence Howard said his wife did it for 2 years. Elisabeth nearly fell out her chair and said "Isn't that when they are in second grade?" What an idiot!

And as for Elizabeth, well...it's obvious she wasn't BF the lack of brains is just silly. : But hey, a breastfed babe at age 2 in second grade? Sure...they're smarter! Ha!

Yay on the 2 yrs thing. That's my goal always.....actually we just had a pregnancy scare last week (I say scare because I am so not ready) and my fear was only about baby (16 mos) not wanting to nurse through the pg and then weaning before age 2! LOL :LOL
