A sex-guessing thread? - Page 3

Oh, cool. I knew that stuff, just didn't know it had a name According to that, my oldest is definately correct and my second is within reason. I have little clue about this one, though I'm almost certain that those sweet little spermies were entering therough domain 4 days pre-O, which would make this a girl Even my DH is pretty sure about the timing. *sprinkling on some optimism*
oh yeah, according to Chinagold AND BabyMan, I'm havng a girl

Hmm no clear feelings either way. I am afraid I am horrible at this sort of Mother's inutition.
With our son I had girl feelings although that maybe because so many people said girl and I secertly wanted a boy so bad that I was sure I would not have one.
Night before U/S when we were finding out the sex I have a dream about buying those chocolate cigars with the foil in pink or blue.
In my dream I am walking out of the store with blue foiled wrapped ones but thinking hey why did I buy these aren't I suppose to be having a girl. Next day we see a penis on the U/S screen.

This pregnancy I had a dream a few days before I decided to take a test about a girls name. The Chinese Gender Chart says girl(my son it said boy) and I believe by Shuttles method it would be a girl.

But unless the U/S tech messes up or we look at the screen at the wrong time we will only find after the birth.

I really would love to have a feeling one way or another as it is we have not even made up a nickname for this baby yet and its almost 16 weeks into the pregnancy. Hey what about Spud?

I think I am having a boy. We will not be finding out until the birth, which will for sure be in Dec. because I will be induced due to Gestational Diabetes .

Also, I was thinking of adding something like that to the "We're Due"-- like making those who think they are having boys blue, and girls pink, or something. I can't do that until I am back from vacation, though. Way to go on taking initiative! .

So, I'll put you as girl? If you want to change it, let me know.

Ok, I'm sucking it up and making a guess: a girl!

Some weeks back I asked my 3 yr old dd to tell me what names she would like for the new baby, and all she would give was girl names. So I started pressing her for boy names, but she just kept saying she wanted a baby sister because she was going to be a big sister. I kept telling her we might have a boy and would need to think of some boy names. Finally, exasperated, she says, "Ok, Stuck!". I say, "Stuck?". She says, "Yeah, like in the mud!".

So now we refer to the baby as Stuck. "When Stuck is born.." :LOL

Okay...my boy phase is over and I am back to thinking girl...hopefully I will know within the next 3-4 weeks and I won't have to guess anymore! LOL!

OK, so I'm still having boy vibes but I had a very vivid dream where I birthed a beautiful, peaceful, fat-cheeked, dark-haired baby girl. It was an awesome dream but the girl part is shaking my confidence in my boy vote...

how often do you think baby's sex in a dream is right?

I am terrible at guessing my own baby's sex! That being said.....a few days before I knew I was pg I dreamt I had a girl. All my boys say it is a girl and total strangers upon hearing we are pg predict a girl. I think people say girl just because we have 3 boys and they think we should have a girl KWIM? We'll find out sometime in January!

So far, I've always been right--of course, now that I've said that I'll probably be wrong!

Here's my guess (and the rest of the family's as well)

Looks like we're NOT doing an ultrasound! YAY!!! My DH told his mom that we weren't finding ou the gender until birth so that sealed it for me

Willowrose,

I saw your post about the u/s and added your daughter's sex to the list - hope it's OK.

Congratulations, BTW! Girls are great!

You can now add me as having a GIRL I was wrong.. heheh :

I say girl. Of course, this could be wishful thinking, but my partner and I seem to keep referring to "our daughter" without even thinking about it. I was going to wait until the birth, but I decided I couldn't stand it anymore, so we're going to find out in 4 weeks.

Hah! I was totally wrong in my boy guess. It's a girl.

Aww! The first granddaughter!! She is going to be spoooiiillled (like my DD!!) Get ready for every stereotypical expectation of a girl to be thrust upon her starting now - if your families are anything like ours
post #57 of 70
Yep, guess I was wrong! I've been wrong 3 out of 3 times
post #58 of 70
I am correct on my guess that it's a girl!! We had an ultrasound on Friday and got a very clear view of the all important area!
The pendulum has never lied to me.. it has 100% accuracy on anyone that I've done it on! So, I guess my next one will be a boy.. and then one more girl after that!! YIPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEE!!

I was correct on my guess of a girl!

I've been right 3 out of my 5 pregnancies. I didn't have a clue what to think with my first, and I thought my 3rd was a boy, but she was a girl. But I was right 60% of the time, higher than just chance .

I'm thinking girl and am going to find out by u/s. After three boys it might just be wishful thinking.
