Uterine biopsy how long to REALLY wait???

Okay, I'm having a sono-hsg and multiple uterine biopsies done tomorrow. The literature says no bathing/swimming/sex for 2 weeks. Unfortunately, I haven't seen my DH in over a month and am going to see him next weekend at the beach Which puts me at 7/8 days not 14.

So, what do y'all think? Is 1 week "safe" enough? If I feel okay and am not bleeding or anything it should be okay to swim in the ocean and enjoy DH right??? I don't think the risk would be very significant at all from the swimming. The only thing I can think is that enjoyment may hurt...but we won't do that if it hurts. Anyone btdt? How long did you wait? Or if not what do you think?

I totally understand your dilemma. I had sth similar recently post cervical surgery...I often have complications so I stuck to the recommendations givven by the doctor...I guess unless you cant bear the idea of not ttc for this month, then maybe other activities would be safer?
I tend to trust doctors in general, unless I've been reason not to.

Thanks for the response May-Lily. I'm going to call the Dr. on Monday and discuss it with the nurse as I wasn't given any instructions other than wait until my next appt. well, that isn't until Sept. and I know I don't have to wait that long.
