Third trimester herbs and supplements?

My midwife gives me a combination of three homeopathics during the 2 weeks leading up to the due date. They are supposed to help get the cervix/uterus ready and help prevent going past dates (she is licenced and here that means a transfer to hospital birth). I've had my past 3 right on their due dates so either thats the way my body works or the homepathics are doing it.

I've also been taking supplements throughout the pregnancy that are supposed to help strengthen my bag of waters. I have a history of water leaking and not going into labour for days after. I'm also always GBS+ so that just adds stress to the situation. Hopefully it will work this time!

I remember last time I took RRL and EPO in the last few weeks, I'll have to research it again because I forget the dosage

I have started drinking a quart of iced rrl a day. It is very good and I always drink it but I have been making it a point to drink it now. I taking vit c and acdipholous in the am and pm and am thinking about doing a garlic supplement to to avoid testing GBS+. I was reading in the homebirth forum about some herb called 5d or 5w that you a start taking 5 weeks before your due date and i think I might do that as well but got to read more about it. When do you start taking primrose and do you take it orally?

Aside from my prenatals, I take RRL capsules several times a day as well.
I'm also GBS+ and will be doing using garlic as we get closer to my due date.
Other than that, I'm not sure if she'll have me take anything else, I'll ask her next appointment. :P

I will start drinking the RRL tea soon. I will take EPO capsules starting around 34 weeks.

I'm not terribly crazed about herbs in general, but I'm drinking a pitcher of RRL ice tea a day & will start EPO just as soon as I figure out the dosage/schedule. I also have some pulsatilla, but I'm putting that off until I can be certain what position the baby is in. (It is supposed to help induce a breech baby to turn, but the downside is that if you make the mistake of taking it with a vertex baby, you can apparently get him to flip back the wrong way.)

I have no idea what y'all are talking about!! Also what are they good for, I mean why take them? What are the benefits?

RRL-- Red raspberry leaf-- tones and prepares the uterus for labor

EPO-- evening primrose oil -- prepares the cervix for labor, can be taken by mouth or inserted vaginally

ETA: I didn't take any of this stuff last time and had a 37+ hour labor. I can vouch for the effectiveness of pulsatilla, but you can bet that this time, I'll have a LOT of tricks in my bag.
