My dss just got his gi (gee? ghi? i don't know! ) for his karate class (the uniform) and it is 100% cotton. The tag says wash in cold water and drip dry. Now, it is too big so I'd like it to shrink, but I don't want it to fall apart. Think it's ok to machine dry? I don't understand why the tag says this. Any thoughts?
