If anyone cares, I think it's a confusing thread, too!

"Whoc ares..." should be "Who cares..." The space was off. Not so bad considering following everything else is a little at times here!

But, hey, that's what makes us all interesting people... trying to figure out what each of us means.

Well, I think this is one of the most confusing threads I've ever read here! Wow! Bonus points to all of you for trying to figure it out.

Tea - Your statements are very difficult to understand, but if I may try to interpret what you are asking from other's interpretations, I think that I would not want anyone visiting labor and delivery if I was in the process of labor and delivery in a hospital. I had a hospital birth and when I toured it while preg, we were not allowed into the actual rooms because they were busy with deliveries. Can you imagine a tour going through while nurses and docs and midwives, etc, are all trying to do their jobs? We were allowed to see a new wing that was undergoing remodelling and not being used. I actually ended up delivering in that wing, in a lovely brand new room!

And, that women in your story was probably visiting the hospital while nearby at a doc appt and just wanted to plan ahead for her next baby. You don't have to be pregnant to be planning ahead like this.

Kathleen,

First, please call me Jessica from now on.

You are right about the L & D part of it, I would be the same way as well.

Exactly it was her sons doctor appointment, the doctors office is the next town over and not sure if she was planning ahead for the next one. They just moved into the area when she visted. I'm glad I don't have to be pregnant to be planning ahead like this.

Thank you.
