what does acv and bs do??

so, now that you've all informed me of why not to use poo and how to use bs and acv (thank you very much!!), what does bs and acv do? i've used bs once and it got my hair really clean, so i'm assuming that's what bs does, but what about acv? does it condition it, clean it...??

I'm going to copy and paste from another thread:

What does this type of rinse do? It restores the natural pH of your hair and scalp, which is slightly acidic. The imbrications (those little scales on the outside of your hair) close tightly against one another when rinsed in an acidic final rinse.

This helps the hair have less tangles (since the imbrications aren't catching against one another), makes the hair shinier (the scales are all smooth like a mirror), helps your natural scalp oil travel down the hair shaft (which makes your hair shinier, softer and better conditioned), and helps keep the hair's moisture inside the hair shaft (less brittle and dry).

Edited to add: Be sure to dilute the vinegar. It only takes 1/4 cup or less in a 2 cup bottle, fill with water, to make a good final rinse for normal to oily hair. Use less ACV if your hair is dry or damaged.

Actually, Ann-Marita, my hair gets limp and overconditioned if I use too much ACV, so some folks might need to do the reverse: reduce the ACV if their hair seems oily and increase it if their hair seems tangly or flyaway.

It's funny because you'd think a vinegar rinse would cut oils, but no. At least not for me
