The point's moot for us. DH insists that the kids won't see it for years. 
I was ready to give it a go this week.
We're with Ms. Mom, usually don't allow anything with shooting, or the like, even banned some of PBS fare because of the meanness quotient, but I was pushing for "Star Wars" just because (a) I love it and (b) the good vs. evil is so well defined; it's not like there are good guys being mean and confusion in that score ...
