Can I please ask for labor vibes?

Okay, I'm 38 weeks as of yesterday. I'm not wanting to have an immature baby, but I would really like to go into labor before my scheduled c-section on August 1st. I've had 3 c/s previously. I DREAM of a vaginal birth. I've been having some pretty intense contraction cycles (2-3 hours at a time of pretty strong contrx every 3-4 min), and I've never done that before. I've never even been in "real" labor. I feel like my body is teasing me with one of the things I want more than anything.

I would happily send you labour vibes, but mine don't seem to be any good . I wish you luck though, and pray that you have the beautiful birth you are dreaming of.

Here's labor vibes being sent to you....

I sooo hope you go into labor on your own! So if you do, will you be trying for a vaginal birth?

Never underestimate the power of determination. I was a Doula for a woman who was trying for a VBAC. Long story short, she was in labour for nearly 3 days (yes this does happen) and was only 3cm dilated on the morning of the 3rd day. The drs broke her water and three hrs later decided that she had to have a ceasar... She was so upset! I spoke to her and told her that there was nothing wrong with her body. There was nothing wrong with her baby (there wasn't) and her power to birth was not at fault here. Well, 20 mins later she grabbed me and said, "Shireen! I need to take a sh*t!!" I just smiled and said, "No, I think you are going to have a baby!" I called the nurse and she checked and the baby's head was right there!!! She gave birth to a healthy and oh so beautiful baby girl!!

Believe mama!!! I believe in you!

Yes, I would go for a vaginal birth. I may have to fight every person in the dang hospital, but I'd be darned if they cut me open if I were in a good, healthy labor.

I have a friend that had 2 VBA4C...yep, that's 2 vaginal births after 4!!! c/sections. If she can do it, so can I.

}}}}}}labor vibes{{{{{ coming your way!! Belive in yourself, believe in your body, believein your baby. Maybe you need to take some time to meditate, to mellow, to think and to prepare. Perhaps your body or maybe somewehre deep in your mind you are afraid or nervous about a vaginal birth and you need to make peace with those feelings. Once you make peace, you can move on to labor. Mind over matter, mind over labor. Best wishes to you mama!!

You can do this, mama. And you can "forget" to turn up for your scheduled surgery too...

I'll be hoping for you
