Okay, we got a puppy in May and I've been spending a LOT of time mopping. Only problem was that my floors with the sponge mop took several hours to dry...on a warm day...even with the sun hitting it. So I bought a rag mop, that did better with the dry time but the twisting to wring out was time consuming.

I was looking at thos FloorMates, but they're sooo expensive and I couldn't pay that much for that. Plus, I'd have to tweak some sort of cleaning solution recipe instead of using their brand of chemicals.

Then I saw the Bissel Steam Mop.

Now I already have a small steamer and have been impressed with the power of steam cleaning and love how it can disinfect w/o the use of chemicals. And I like Bissel products. And it was on sale.

So I bought it and bought two extra cloths for it and took it home with me to try out on the laundry room floor that I had mopped just the week before.

Oh My Lord! The grime it got up! But my floors dry almost instantly and look clean too and it's such a sinch to use. No nasty water bucket to deal with afterwards.

It's not super with really stuck on spots and if you have textured floors (you know, the vinyl floors that some idiot designed with all those tiny grooves), it may not get in every single groove - but then again, neither did my mop. The mop head swivels reall well, perfect for getting around a toilet - a must in this house with my two boys with no aim :

So I'm giving this a thumbs up - I really like it a lot!
