Pattern tweaking question

I got the Cuddlebuns pattern, but I really like the look of side-snapping. In looking at the pattern, I was thinking that I could just cut it out the way it is and rearrange the snaps, maybe trimming the wings a little, so that snaps are more on the side than in the front. Does that make sense? Is this do-able? Or will it screw up the whole pattern?

: I was wondering that too. Do you think it'll still be one-sized? All the one size diaper I know of have front snaps so I assumed one size couldn't be done with side snaps. I'm interested if anyone has ideas about this... :

I hadn't thought about the whole one-size issue - oops! LOL! However, my dd needs the larger size anyway so making them smaller isn't an issue right now. Are their even one-sized side-snapped diapers at all?

Now that my side-snapping diapers are dry (it was wash day, lol), I can now compare them to the pattern I have and see if just turning it around is possible.
