Anyone try Milk Paint?

While researching non-toxic paints I ran into Milk Paints at ecowise.com

Wondering if anyone has experienced with this? The colors are nice, it sounds simple and the price is right. Is it all that?

This month's Natural Home and Garden magazine has a huge section on natural paints, in which milk paint is featured highly. It sounds like it goes best on slightly porous walls and isn't good for damp places. I'm vegan so I wouldn't be using it anyway, but the article made it sound very good.

A friend of mine tried it for a few projects. Overall, she liked it. But it actually takes quite a bit of the product to make the paint. (Or at least... more than she expected!) And you need to make enough all at once or the next batch you make may not match the first. I'd give it a try on something small first.
