The sun really works!!!

The other day, we had spaghetti with tomato sauce for dinner. Being my usual messy self, I managed to get some on my shirt.

I washed the shirt either that evening or the next day. The stain didn't come out.

I poured some detergent directly on the stain and rewashed it in the next load of laundry. The stain STILL didn't come out.

I laid the shirt outside in the sunshine for a few hours. The stain came out It also didn't discolor the print on the shirt. Best of all, no chemicals to make me sick while I did the laundry!!!

I had the same problem with fresh tomato as I was preparing dinner the other day (I should wear an apron, I know) The wasc=hingndidn't do it but a day on the washing line did!

I'm still trying the sun to get chocolate ice cream out of dd's t-shirt though - we haven't had much sun this week.
