II came home today and was shocked and appalled to find that my kitchen floor is covered with ants. I was so surprised because I try very hard to keep our house as clean as possible. I traced them back and they seem to be coming in under the patio door. There are so many of them! I don’t know what to do and need help.
We called 2 exterminators who both recommended leaving the house for a week while they come to fumigate. For MANY reasons, we don’t want to do this, one of which is that besides our 11 month old ds, we also live with 6 indoor cats and 1 outside dog.
Can someone recommend an environmentally sound alternative? I’d love to just remove the ants without actually killing them, but there are so many, and I don’t know how to do that.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
