asked his best buddy to marry him today. He said, "Hey, Talin - do you want to be loves? I thought maybe you and me could get married together." When Talin indicated that he wasn't so hip to the idea, Jackson said, "But, I want to have a couple babies with you!"

I just love, love, love that my boy has enough queer families around him that even though he is in that gender-focused 3 y.o. stage (you know, it's all 'do you have a penis or a vulva?') he knows two boys can be 'loves'.

It's Jill in Vancouver! I haven't posted much b/c I'm still "just" pregnant...have read lots tho'
Jackson is such a sweet, gentle boy. I love that about him, because so many people have said "boys are just naturally...(this or that)". You and I both know the limits of "natural" when it comes to boys and girls
Anyways, I am inspired by your parenting and hope I can use you as a "mommy role model". I'm 29 weeks now, and that baby is kicking away! I love it and crack up almost every time.
