Hello new here and have no ideal where to start!!

Hi i'm Amber 27 SAHM of 3 and my 10 month old has very Sensitive skin i've tried every diaper they make and he still brakes out i feel soo bad for hi. So i thought i would try cloth with him i used them with my older son and loved them but i just bought them but we have Moved and they just don't have cloth diapers here not even at walmart not even diaper pins. so me and my mom are going to try to make some and see how it goes but we are soo very clueless i dont hvae an ideal where to start it's alittle overwhelming. I need something that is easy to do i'm no wise at sewing so any advice would be wonderfull thanks

me too! : i'm not in the same boat; we're ttc#1 and hope we're almost there. i want to start getting ready and have no clue where to start! not too may cd mamas out my way!

It's great that you want to cloth diapers! But there's lots of information out there, so try not to get overwhelmed. First I think you need to decide what kind of diapers you want to use, try this link: New to cloth diapers? Here's a tutorial!

Once you've figured out what kind you want to try, you can check out the sticky threads at the top of this board for pattern ideas and materials resources.

Don't be afraid to ask questions, the mamas at MDC are really nice and very helpful.

Thanks so much for the info that help out alot !!!
i think i'm going to go the Fitted and cover way or prefolds seems like the easiest way and cheapest thanks again for the help i'm sure i will have alot more questions

I have a little site put together that shows you how to make prefolds and fitteds out of t-shirts - someone else will have to post the link, though, as I'm not allowed to.

Oh just what i need Someone please post the site i would love to have the info me and my mom have been on the phone all day deciding when to get started i'm really excited to get my little boy out of Diposabels he is soo itchy and fussy i feel soo very bad for him

Thanks Ladies so much for all the help and Info hopefully we are on our way to CDing
i've so many ideals i'm sure i will have more questions and i'm looking forward to posting pics of our first CD soon
