wipe recipe??

Does anyone have a recipe for wipe solution? I want something that is going to smell good but not irritate which also means it can't have lavender in it since I'm allergic and don't plan on wearing gloves every time I diaper change.

Thanks.

How about some water and a squirt of baby bath? or a drop or two of Tea Tree Oil in a cup of water?

Try doing a forum search in cloth diapering. I found some there. I use a spoonful of liquid glycerin soap, a spoonful of baby oil 2 drops of tea tree oil and 2 drops of lavender oil for the most part in a small thermos we use to hold it. I love the smell of some of the baby oils we've been given.

That being said, plain water works really well too. I use a smaller spoon now than when I started since our solution was WAY too strong.

you could easily skip the lavendar and just use tea tree oil. the lavendar and tea tree oils are used to keep the solution fresh. you could also just use the soap and oil and skip everything else if you make it up daily.

might also try a google search - I know there are lots of recipes out there - just depends on what you like - so far we've just been using water since I dont' have any essential oils yet - hope to soon though!

That's where I adapted my recipe from. I use 1 T baby bath, 1 T baby oil and water to fill a 32 oz water bottle. Usually I use Burts Bees apricot oil because it smells SO good. HTH!
