There is a Crock pot recall right now and Rival is replacing the part that is part of the recall:

Mine was not part of this recall but the picture looks like several of the models I see in other people's homes.

Thanks I have one of those models, but it was made a few months after the ones that are being recalled. I'm going to be careful with mine anyway, it says a batch was recalled before and then more added....
