Hey, checking up on my favorite mamas!
Brandi, I've been meaning to tell you that I read and loved "Diaper Free." I've been doing part-time EC with Finn since he was 8 weeks. I'd love to find the motivation to do it all the time. Soon, soon.

Amyjeans -- hope you're starting to feel better!
I just (finally!) wrote my birthstory, so if you want to include a link in my name on the roll-call feel free. Here's the link:

Can't wait to read all the upcoming stories -- yay!

We told our families about babe #5 this week, and hub's fam has not reacted (but we expect it to be very favorable and excited, as always) and my fam was obviously biting their tongues but said nothing more than "Well that's what you are choosing for your life," which is not so bad considering what they COULD have said, LOL!

Now, here's the irony - my family is the most likely to be OK with UC (last time was a last-minute UC because our mw bailed on us at 8.5 mos, whole 'nother story...) while hub's fam is hardly OK with me homebirthing with a CNM or something, and would love to legally require me to hosp birth. For no reason, you understand, just because.

I'm glad I live far far away from the in-laws, sometimes!

hey mamas. coming to this thread always cheers me up
at 38 wks, DP and I have been pretty stressed about a lot of things (money, time, overwhelmed...the works..) and got in a pretty huge argument. I felt my body just completely tense up and had to force myself to ignore my desire to argue and just completely relax. Practice for labor?
Anyway, starting to feel a little anxious that this baby could come any day now or 3 weeks from now and there's still so many things i feel like I have to get done. just going with the flow is the best i guess!
we need this baby NOW! lol, we're going kinda crazy.......

tick me off the pregnancy list! we had a baby boy last night on the 17th august (australia)! Birth story to come later today : )

I'm feeling a bit ripped off, I gave birth in under an hour, no time to enjoy labour or call the video guy or wake my dd but for the birth itself it was amazingly easy, and after it all I was like oh is that it??? lol

Later!

Let's see, STILL super exhausted, but getting rid of our bedframe seems to have helped me get more restful sleep when I do sleep at least. Puking still, ugh. Oh, found out I get CARSICK now? Never happened before in my life, but we picked up my MIL from the airport yesterday and drove for like 2 hours to where she was staying, and when we parked, I had to get out and walking run to a grassy spot and puke my guts out. It was awful.

My boy is being a cutie sweetheart and asking for hugs all the time right now, hee hee. I am hoping this food aversion and pukey stage ends soon, especially since i had it until wks 25ish with my boy.

How's all the other preggie mamas?
