So, when i got home from work tonight. dh and i were talking about my preg...or not preg symptoms...i hate calling it that. it's not a disease!!! anyway i found this website today that talks about all of these very early preg. signs. i have lots of them. so dh wanted me to test again. i did and when we checked it it was bfn again...it was bfn this am. but about 30 minutes later there was a faint line. i know...that's a negative...BUT i have tested with this exact same batch of tests before...i work in an ob/gyn office and i got a bunch from work. last few times i used them...nothing even a day later. this time we checked it 30 minutes later. i think we may have checked it too early the first time...3 min instead of 5. : : : : : my LP has been 12 days at the longest lately so tomorrow is 13 dpo. we'll see!! DH is peering over my shoulder now trying to figure out wtf i'm doing online.


I am soooo thankful i have you mama's to talk to. i don't talk to anyone else about this ttc stuff!!!

Heather~ Thanks for the thread this week. I hope August is a lucky month for you! (Is that an implantation dip on 8dpo? I think it takes 3-5 days for a bfp after a dip, btw.) :

Mavournin~ I O'd on cd30 last cycle, so you could have ovulated today, or even later. Don't give up hope.

Outofmymindyo~ Well, a normal LP is anywhere from 12-16 days, so it's hard to guess exactly the day you O'd. Do you temp?

eorr~ Congrats on finishing your thesis! How are you going to celebrate?

morgansmom~ I agree with NurseLaurie. Take a photo, put it in a pretty frame in the bedroom (or on an altar), then, feast on the carrot creature with dh!

FSM~ Your temp may still go back up. You're still above the coverline.

NurseLaurie~ It looks like you could've O'd. See what your temps look like over the next couple of days.

zion~ Yay! I'm glad that wasn't af. : for a bfp soon.

celesterra~ Perk up, your chart looks great!

lotusblossom~ Your dh will come around in his own time, and it'll be that much sweeter when he's 100% focused. Also, it looks as though you did O, by your temps and cm pattern.

UrsulaRose~ You'll have an itty bitty water baby one day soon, too. I'm too enjoying things I can't do while pg., I think that's a great way to stay positive. I've been drinking beer and bicycling (though not at the same time)

CityGirl43~ Isn't Portland the best?! Dh and I are going back again from August 12-17 to neighborhood hunt w/ the intent to move sometime next year. We do love the Bay, but we Portland! It seems genuinely family-friendly and we could buy our dream house for $300k! Also, I loved your FIL story! "Get out of my house!" :LOL

Thalia~ I don't think one temp under the coverline should negatively effect anything. I don't think it's indicative of low progesterone or anything.

SaveTheWild~ Taking extra B6 should help lengthen your LP as well. Good luck with the opks...they drive me !


Well, here I am on cd 3 and not going to O for over 2 weeks. Af brought unusual crampiness and general sensitivity/pain, so I wonder if maybe I was slightly pg and implantation just didn't happen correctly. Who knows? I'm happy for the reboot, so I can drink during our Portland rendezvous (mmm...lavendar martinis!) and not have to deal with m/s or other pg symptoms. However, I really do want to be pg in the same breath. We'll be using Pre-seed during my fertile times this month, so maybe it will help.

Zion~ Take the test apart, and wet it under the faucet. Dry it with a towel. If the faint line is still there, it is a real faint bfp. If it disappears, then it was an evap. : !!!

I was visiting my cousin today and she commented to me that my boobs looked bigger. I brought tacos over to her house then couldnt eat them. I made spaghetti for diner and it made me so sick to brown the hamburger I couldnt eat it. Even though I tested this a.m. with a digital test it made me think hmmmm what if..... Last night I had a dream I got a BFP and I thought i was dreaming and convinced myself in the dream I wasnt. So, I just went into the bathroom with an internet cheapie and I got a faint pretty quickly. I didnt believe it so I did another one. I still got another faint . So I ran out and picked up a FRER, light I am shocked I think I really just might be. With the m/c's I have had I have had no symptoms, nausea, or anything. Please say a little prayer for my little bean if you can. I realy hope those lines get darker tomorrow. I am going to try and get in for a beta and progesterone test in the morning.

Yes, my DP is a blessing and I wouldn't trade her, even for a vat of free fresh sperm!! Seriously, though - the spec thing really helps you get to know your body, and to break down the whole being repulsed cultural baggage. morgansmom - LOVE the carrot story. I have a fertility altar in our bedroom, and I always put a fresh flower and piece of fruit on it when it is around O & insem time. I think you should honor that omen somehow!

FX FX for the testing parties this week. I am going to try to wait until really close to the end this time. So far, I feel REALLY good about this cycle ... trying to think sticky thoughts (c'mon little blastocyst ... heres a nice warm cushy thick lovely lining for you to nestle into ... you know you want to ...)

My temp went back up again today so I broke down and tested with an internet cheapy but I fell asleep :doh ! I woke up an hour later and there is a faint faint line, I need to get more tests!

meggles- i can't take this test apart. it's a doctor's office test and they are pretty simple-just one piece. it's a 100% faint line from what we can see. dh actually noticed it. CAN'T WAIT TIL THURSDAY!!!!!

Umm can someone look at my chart? I'm flatlining - if it were my heartbeat I'd be dead. Do you think its my thermometer? I still have no signs of O and I'm starting to think my monitor is broken since its still reading 'low' THANK YOU to whoever said they didn't O last cycle until day 30 - that gives me hope!

Dumb question - if you have an annovulatory cycle - do you still get AF?

Dh wants to be so relaxed about this and everytime I get to anxious to jump him - he is suddenly 'tired' or 'doesn't feel good' - gee NOW the tables are turned, huh? :LOL

hannahmom, sometimes i get charts like yours, and my temps typically even out before i o. so maybe you're gearing up? although there have been times i'd like to blame my monitor, usually things are clear in the end.

if you have an anov cycle, what you'll get is called "anovulatory bleeding" - it's not a true period. sometimes the body just ovulates really late - cd30+. i've seen that happen many times on this board, though i have not personally experienced it. i think we even had a bfp recently from someone in that situation! for me, an anov cycle is just that. if i personally haven't o'ed by cd25, it ain't gonna happen.

anyway, don't worry. it'll come together! good luck with your dh - they sure can be PITA's, huh?

on a personal note... i have just started feeling crampy... it's actually early for af for me... trying not to make any judgements or suppositions, here!

I haven't dreamed that I'm pregnant, but I dreamed all of you were. I signed on and the place was empty except me and you were all in the pregnant room. It wasn't even really sad (except the lack of company) because we aren't trying until my upcoming O, so maybe it's a good omen for everyone. I also keep dreaming about taking my temp. Odd... I tested again ! I think I see a really faint line and it was within the time but its so faint I am wondering if all negative tests would show a line like it anyway : I'm annoyed at myself for testing so early & getting my hopes up now, why is POAS so addicting :LOL

So... I had a temp spike this morning. And my breasts are getting more tender every day. I woke up to them feeling really "full"

I'm 7dpo... and I am determined not to test until AF is late (though FF is off because I have a chart in there where my LP was longer than normal. I am thinking I'll give myself the okay to test a week from Thursday! I HATE BFNs. If I tested early, and got one, it would ruin the rest of my cycle. So... I HAVE to be strong.

Well, when I retested this morning, it wasnt quite 1st morning urine since I had to wake up twice to pee. I got a slightly darker line! I am just going to not stress about it or poas anymore and I am just going with it and say I am officially pregnant! Woo Hoo I get to be on the August BFP's list
