Ok so I'm forcing hubby to clean out his side of the closet because i've been shoved over in the far corner by all his shirts and while we were looking I found a jecket that I didn't even know we had. The Tag reads:

65% Polyester
35% cotton
With Polyurethane Coating

Machine wash cold
Do not bleach
do not iron

It's not lined but it's oh-so soft on the inside and no water leaks through the fabric.

How can I tell if this would make a good diaper cover (or pocket or AIO outer shell) or not?

is the fabric shiny on one side...I would guess it would work.

Give it a try if your dh is not going to wear the jacket.

Yep, shiny on one side. DH dosen't get a say it's aladies Jacket...Fair game
