Yes I TOTALLY look forward to checking this back out in December. I think we should edit our original posts (by clicking the Edit button in the right hand lower corner of your message) and adding a note about how accurate our guesses were!

I added December in the title. So, really one of us has to remember to search for December and Guess and we'll find it & bump this baby.

I expect to get some surprises from reality for my guesses. :LOL And, really I should go back and fill in how long I think labor will be in my post.

Also, I think it's interesting that most people think that their baby is going to come before the EDD. I usually try to convince myself that I'm actually due a few days later than my EDD and that my baby will be later than that! :LOL Seems like it's nicer to think you're going to go overdue and get surprised than the other way around!

This is really tough - I have no idea. But I want to play along, so I'm going to make something up to put in the time capsule...

Birthdate: 12/16/05. The anniversary of our first date and 6 days past my EDD so it seems reasonable. Plus it would be after the end of finals here which would make things so much less complicated.
Time: 1:57 pm (that's when I was born)
Length of labor: 15 hours
Place: tub in a hospital suite
Weight: 7 lbs 10 oz

I've been meaning to check this site out, but I don't know if it really applies to me, Im thinking it is for posterior babes. Both of my kids were not posterior, I just seem to be so lucky to have back labor no matter position. I never once felt a contraction in my belly during labor, uggg.

Birthdate -- November 22 (12/1/05 I was 4 and 5 days late with my other two, but this little guy was concieved a few days before my girls. My periods are VERY regular, so I think only 2 or 3 days late for this one)
Time -- 2:06pm (That's a toughy . . .maybe around 6 pm or so???? 1st baby was 4:56 pm and 2nd was 1:50 am, so who knows . . . )
Length of Labor -- 3 1/2 hours - My water broke at 3:30am and true contrax started around 10:50am, born at 2:06 pm (Hopefully shorter than last ones . . .10.25 hours 1st baby and 13 with 2nd (I didn't relax like the first labor) so . . . maybe 8 to 10???)
Place -- hospital (I am very comfortable in a hospital setting. Had my other two children in the hospital. Had the staff running a bit scared in the second one hehehehe)
Poundage -- 6 lbs. 5 oz (we think he was 6 lbs 12 oz. the LD scale was off - Bobby was 6 12 twelve hours later . . . (between 8.8 and 9.3 my others were 7.12 and 9 even
Length -- 19 1/2 inches (21 inches)
Special notes -- Please read my birth story in the Nov ddc. Had a wonderful hospital birth. Bobby is nursing like a champ! We camw home Thanksgiving day. What a great way to spend the holidays. (I hope to have another wonderful Bradley birth at the hospital. I have a great OB, wonderful husband and a doula who knows how to make me relax! So I am keeping my finger crossed for a wonderful birth. I can hardly wait to see my little boy (but he can wait until after Thanksgiving, thank you very much!!)

Sex (if you don't know) my gut reaction was boy, and then i hoped it would be a boy so bad that i started to tell myself it was a girl.....then u/s confirmed- BOY!

Place -- it depends on how fast it goes, we're set for the hospital but maybe it will go so fast i'll 'accidentaly' have him at home w/ my doula.

It was an absolutely wonderful, incredible homebirth. It was amazing how peaceful and almost idyllic it was. Certainly it was work, but it was good work and fulfilling work. I really couldn't have asked for a better birth experience!

Birthdate -- 12/4/05 Uh... how about 12/17/05... a little later than I expected!

Length of Labor -- prodromal for 2 weeks, water breaks, babe will be born in 1 hr. 42 min Had the prodromal for weeks, ctx. started at 6:30 am, off and on all day... then around 10 pm things really picked up! Water didn't break until pushing... another first for me
Place -- waterbirth, pool in the appropriate room (we're moving, so I dunno what room)The move never happened... but she was born in the fishy pool next to the Xmas tree.
Poundage -- 8lbs. 4 oz. She is indeed 8 pounds something... I don't have a scale for her in ounces
Length -- 20.75 inches That's just about it! She's just a hair shy of 22 inches!
Special notes: She will be a avid nurser as soon as she see's the boobies!! And she will be the bestest freebirthed babe ever!! Indeed she was born rooting! She was latched on before anything else. My milk was here in less than 36 hours!

Sex- girl. Everyone else thinks it's going to be a boy. Up until a couple weeks ago I had no feeling either way, but lately I've been having major girl vibes. We'll see!

It was a boy! I guess everybody else was right!

Birthdate- December 13th. I'm due on the 5th. Everything has been so completely average about this pregnancy that I think I'll go the exact 41 weeks 1 day that 1st time moms are supposed to. Dh thinks it will be December 7th (our anniversary)...I must add that I have had visions of going into labor on Thanksgiving.

My vision was correct...went into labour in the wee hours of Thanksgiving Morning, November 24th.

Time- 3:30pm...dh thinks it will be around 1am.

Off by 9 minutes...3:21pm. Wow!

Length of Labor- 3 hours, 15 minutes of hard labor **wishful thinking**dh thinks 6 hours

Ummm...no. 14 hours of back labor followed by 3 hours of waiting for the placenta.

Place- our bedroom, on dry land, even though I'm planning on having a pool to labor/birth in.

Our bedroom it was! Never ended up getting a pool but the bath wasn't doing much good so a pool very likely wouldn't have either.

Poundage- 7lb, 9 oz

Close, 7lbs, 13oz!

Length- 20 in.

Close again! 19.5".

This is going to be more like my wishful thinking about all this....because right now i have no strong feeling about what is going to happen!

Sex (if you don't know) -- one boy, one girl; unfortunately, we already are talking to them like that, so we'll be kind of shocked if that's not who they are!

Birthdate -- December 1 -- one before midnight, and one right after, so they have different birthdays!!

Time -- around midnight

Length of Labor -- no idea about the first, but i'm going to stay nice and upright so the 2nd one just pops out in 15 minutes hahaha

Place -- if they're vertex and if my parents are here with us, might wait for an "accidental" home delivery....otherwise, it's the nearby hospital all the way.

Poundage -- 7 pounds each (here's hoping!)

Length -- no idea!!

I've read a bunch of stories lately about twins who went to 39 or 40 weeks, twins born vaginally and naturally, etc. etc.....so i'm sending these babies lots of good vibes to choose that path. And let's see from there....If they are breech or anything, i may really have to let go of this wishful thinking b/c it's hard to find someone who'll deliver twins in that position. sigh.

Length of Labor -- 1 1/2 hrs real contractions until first is outThere was only one to our amazement, spent 3+ weeks having contraction 2-3 mins apart and never dilating past 5cm. Finally convinced the doc to break my water 5 days overdue spent 3 hrs "needing to push" but baby wouldnt move. I was minutes from a C-section(docs were scrubbing up) when she moved and nearly flew out, went from 5cm-full and baby out in 10 mins or less
Place -- in the hospital most likley :-(this was right but aparently for the best as she was blue whe came out
Poundage -- around 5.5lb each 8lb 2oz
Length -- 19-21 inches 20 1/2 in
DH wants to know when we can try for a boy... i told him we can start trying to get him preg in a few weeks.....
