hcg and pregnancy test

I had a hcg trigger shot last week. This morning I took an ultra sensitive pregnancy test with FMU and got a negative. I assume that this means that if I test again in a few days and get a positive then I am pregnant. Right??? Because the hcg from the shot would only be decreasing, so if I get a positive test then it must mean that my hcg is increasing due to pregnancy right???

Or is there some weird thing where the hcg from the shot will "surge" and be dectable even though previously it was undectable???

If you got a negative, then the HCG should be out of your system.

SO yeah, if you get a positive after this, then you are likely pregnant!

If the test was negative then all hcg is out of your body by now.

I hope you get pregnant.

Thanks guys!

I am still taking progesteron, which of course makes me feel pregnant. Now I am obsessing about feeling pregnant and if it is because of the drugs or if it is because I'm pregnant. Oh how I hope this is the month for us!

The progesterone really does make you feel pregnant, doesn´t it? All those little signs from your body to worry and obsess over.

I can make light of it now but I vividly remember being in your shoes 3.5 years ago. The uncertainity S*CKS!

Keep us posted and again: Good luck!

I guess I am lucky then - My progesterone shots aren't making me feel anything - other than having a sore ass every day.

:LOL
