Pattern for a pull-on cover?

Thread Starter
I'd like to make some fleece pull-on covers for ds but I think I need a pattern. I tried using the instructions that are linked on the diaper hyena site, but didn't have much luck with it. I'm having a harder time making one than I thought I would.

I have the VB side snap pattern, but really don't want snaps because of the extra bulk in the fleece.

Any tips or suggestions? Any ideas on how to convert the VB pattern to a plain pull on pattern?

What about something like this or the pattern for panties that often come with little dress patterns?

I just purchased the darlingdiapers.com pattern for training pants that pull on or snap. You could use that as a basis.

BTW, what is VB?

I bought some cheap Gerber vinyl pants. I think a pack of 6 was around $5. I cut the elastic off of one and laid it flat to use as a template. I made some minor adjustments because the front is too poofy for my taste. I got a cheap pattern and can use the other 5 pairs as a backup if I need them. They work fine, I just don't care for the plasticy feel/smell or their poofiness.
