Congrats to you. When I took my first test I stared at it for about 5 mins and finally saw two lines ( very faint). Took another two days later and the line was alittle darker. I was so happy because my dh saw the lines too. So I knew I was preg. Now I have a healthy 10 month old baby boy.

Congrats again.

And hey, I did an experiment 2 weeks ago. I reused the very faint test, and the line got a bit darker. So you can just re-pee on the old one, and maybe convince dh without spending more money on tests ~ so you can spend it on nicknames instead LOL

Congrats! This is awesome news. I started with a faint line on 10dpo, it was probably as faint, if not fainter at 11dpo. Then at 12 dpo, I got a different brand of test just to make sure & that was quite dark.

So have some iced tea, relax & enjoy yourself & think nice baby thoughts

Dp has had a really hard time believing it, as well. She wouldn't rest until we did a third hpt with the exact brand that gave us a BFN on Saturday.... and both of us will rest easier once the blood test comes back to confirm everything....

Just remember, the response is probably a protection against being disappointed and hurt..... and it is NORMAL to want to avoid these things.... and not want you to be let down, either. He will come around....

Thank you all so much!!! Well, the hpt I got came with a double, so OF COURSE I took it this AM, first thing, and it's a little darker than yesterday, still faint, but darker....so I woke up DH and told him...he hasn't stopped smiling!!!!

Mamasoleil, I'm a little late, heven't checked in here for a few days. CONGRATULATIONS

I know when you conceived!! Remember that night papasoleil called you on your way to work and just said, "I love you. BTW you're pregnant!" For some reason that stuck in my head. He really did know. I am soooooo happy for you.

Did I understand your post right, Kathy? Did the insemination take??? Are you pregnant too???
