Possible implantation bleeding but testing neg

Hi all
I'm at 12 dpo, this morning I had some very light spotting that stopped within a few hours. I get horribly excited thinking this is it, so when I get home I test and it's negative.

Am I getting my hopes up for nothing. When can I be sure, the wait is killing me.

12dpo is still pretty early to get a positive results, a lot of tests aren't sensitive enough to pick up a pregnancy at that time. But the spotting sounds good, hoping that this is IT for you!

With my first and only child (TTC #2), I tested postive at 7dpo. But like they say, everyone is different.

I wasn't charting with Ds but it took until I was a week late to get a +. Today is day 13 tested again(I'm getting more and more obsessed) still negative. However I'm using tests this time that say they can detect levels as low at 20.

I just feel like I'm on the emotional roller coster, dh says that is a great sign, and that my body isn't "wasting" any HGC. But I just need to know.
