I'm looking for some ideas of fun things to buy or make for my baby for the holidays -- toys, books, etc. All the mainstream parenting mags have suggestions, but I suspect they are more like ads -- I'd love to hear some ideas from moms who practice attachment parenting.

My babe is 5 months old, but ideas for when he's older are welcome too!

If you are crafy maybe make a simple doll ? I agree, the craft forum is full of great ideas.
