Fess Up--If ANYONE know I was a fan of . . .

Some of us are closet fans of some of the oddest things. So fess up . . .who or what is the oddest thing for which you have a deep seated passion?

I'll go first--I love Barry Manilow, the original Brady Bunch and the Incredible Hulk tv show (even though green Lou Ferigno gives me nightmares )

Country Christmas Music- can't resist it!

And, (whispering) I love bubble-gum music like NSync!!!

I love it! (but don't tell, ok?)

Everyone here knows I love Goth and New Wave. However, every now and again I get this little evil streak and turn on the local Hard Rock station and jam. (Don't tell, you'll ruin my 'Modd' reputation)

I am going to ruin my intellectual status...

I only do this on a *very* occasional basis, mind you...

Sometimes I watch that very stupid show "Blind Date."

I swear I will never do this after the baby comes!

It's just the people on there are so trashy! It is very interesting to me!

Ok, I'll play but please don't tell anyone! I still think to find out what is happening on The Young and the Restless. I started watching it in college, between classes and feel the need to watch and check up on my "friends" on Y&R every now and then.

I also love, love, love the Bee Gees and other 70's pop music like Air Supply!

I am a highly educated woman and would never admit these things to most people I know! : :

Thanks for the confessional time!

Although I too am educated...I *know* I am not like you guys, BUT....I love Britney Spears!! I want to be Britney! So there, I admit it!

I also love that song by Air Supply "Making Love Out Of Nothing At All".

Oh, and I am also a complete freak about VH1's "Behind the Music".

the Osbournes... shhhhhh. DH hates it, I sneak & watch it....
Oh, I also have the hots for Nigela and Helana Bonon Carter.
Oh you people are sheep fodder for the DDDDC!!! Ahhahahahhahhaa.... (Wringing hands in anticipation of devilish plans)
The Osbournes? the horror! Actually I am not ashamed to admit to being a fan. They are our family. Older sophisticated and above it all daughter. Battling bickerton other sibs, dyed hair and pierced. (we don't allow the physical violence and cussin, but heck fahr, those kids o' mine are spirited!) I used to call them the Bickertons, but now just call them Kelly and Jack.

My dh, Ozzy, an absent minded musician, stressing out easily, freaky but dear. (happens to be a Deadhead, not a metal rocker).

And me, Sharon, a "crazy whore," but somehow holding the whole family together.

I am a bit more ashamed of also watching, and often quoting, the Anna Nicole Smith Show.

But really this is the worst--I shop QVC!

Yes! Blind Date is the best late night boredom past time. Those people are out of control. Can you imagine if that was your son or daughter on there? You can still watch after the baby comes. I've got 5 and I'm still watching (just not while they are up or in the room!)

I also watch "Days of Our Lives" everyday. I tape it in the daytime and watch it at night when the kids go to bed. I've watched it since I was too little to remember. Those people are apart of my life. I tried to be high and mighty and give it up once. It only lasted for a few months, though.
Oh myrrh, no, do not put QVC under my name! Now, "crazy whore" i wouldn't mind so much.

If you are nice, i will tell you something cool I found out about myrrh today...
Hmmmmm....I like R&B/Hip-Hop but I've read babies don't so I don't listen to it anymore. I LOVE Broadway musicals. LOVE Air Supply, too, esp. that making love song.

I know this is a light thread, but I have OCD. Most people don't know, but I'm being successfully treated for it.

Edited to add stuff from cross-posts:

Ekblad, CONGRATS!

I have become addicted to, and quit, DOOL many times but haven't really watched any TV since May so I think I'm pretty much over it...HOWEVER, I still ask my mom and sis how Belle and Shawn and Marlena and John and Hope and Bo and and and....are doing.

Ut OH!

Maybe I should of schemed in silence... QVC QUEEN! You won't catch me fessin up on these threads, not for the next couple of weeks anyways!

It was our 'family activity', when I was in art school and had 8 roommates, for us to watch "Jerry Springer" together... shhhhh! It's not something I am proud of.
My husband thinks I'm a little wacky, but I just love the show Sabrina The Teenage Witch!
You trashy woman XM!!!(just kidding)

I also have a thing for...Oh, I just can't it's too horrible to mention!
So I guess you think less of me now, Jacque? Let me tell you, that was far from the most scandalous thing I did in art school! But you know, I tried watching it once last year, and I had to turn it off... I guess my cheese tolerance has gotten lower since the art school days? Maybe it was the fact that we would watch it with beer that made it so entertaining...

Ok, what is more horrible then watching Jerry Springer? Were you a guest once?
Of course I don't think less of you I just couldn't resist poking fun at it!!!! Yes, Beer can change one's perspective on humor! Nope, never a guest, though I could well have been with my family! I'll bet we could have an entire show on our families XM! (lol)

"myrhhmaid"

Ok, I could put "can't spell own name" under yours, but I won't. (If a bribe won't work, maybe a threat will?)
