Fess Up--If ANYONE know I was a fan of . . . - Page 2

Yes, we could, and it would be very scary!

What is the horrible thing you can't mention? That you actually like Michael Jackson's current nose? That you have a crush on Dan Ackroyd (like I did in Jr. High)... or (gasp) that you are a Martha Stewart fan?

T A friend of mine went through a Martha phase when she had her dd... I remember her being almost in tears because she made soaps from scratch and they looked all stupid cuz they would'nt harden (guess nobody told her about Melt'n'Pour soap...). She had all these projects going on and I was up at her house till 3am that Christmas Eve helping her finish them! Ugh!

Ok I admit it I watch Blind Date and Elimidate and I love the Sunday Night Sex show.......but the biggest confession of all is............

I love Martha Stewart

I do I love her and I am not all that ashamed to admit it.
okay maybe a little

Arnold Swartzinager...I can't even spell it, it's so hameful, but I think he is hot and so I can forget all about the fact he is a damn freaking republican.

Nobody knows this but my husband- I think Mr. Bean is hysterical. I adore him. We just went to the movies the other day (yeah- finally a date!) and saw a preview for a new movie with him in it- and I wanna go see it, even though it looks corny.

OK, I am a fan of Smallville. I'm a fan of anything Superman related, actually. I used to watch Lois & Clark too. Smallville is the only time I've ever watched the WB network, interestingly enough.

I also loved The Incredible Hulk--Bill Bixby was cute, but I was a kid then.

What else? Ummm, I enjoy singing karoke, I watch One Life to Live, and I want to see both that movie with Jennifer Lopez as a maid, and the one about the college marching band. :LOL

another confession

Seeing how everyone is coming clean with their secret obsessions, and seeing how no one has bashed me for being a Britney freak...

I used to listen to Dr. Laura every afternoon

I know, its sick, but i found her by accident and became hooked. now i dont listen because after 9/11, they put her show on too late. You are the only people that know this now, except for my mom, who is a therapist and wanted me committed & medicated for listening to dr laura.

so now what am i...a dr laura loving, britney wannabe, qvc shopping, rightwinging, mainstreamer.....

Hi. My name is Amy and I follow "General Hospital."

all reply: "Hi, Amy."

But I do it very irregularly nowadays and really don't think I'm addicted ...

all begin shouting: "Classic case of denial," "accept your disease, sister" ...

ok, I believe I have posted about my disease before, but here goes..

I have the biggest crush on Scott Bakula, the new Star Trek captain, but to me he will always be Sam Beckett (Quantum Leap). I have to admit I occasionally watch Star Trek (and the re-run ) just so I can have a good old perve at Scottie. There, I said it. I feel better now

I'm addicted to Buffy AND Star Trek (SDMummy Scott Bakula is very attractive, but I watched the Next Generation because Jonathan Frakes was HOT!). I also drool at Alyson Hannigan (Willow) on Buffy.

Elvis Presley, that new greatest hits CD with 30 songs on it.

Even 3 yr old ds tells me that he's tired of it and to turn it off.

I'm also the only person out there that loves souvenir tea towels, especially the one with British royals on them.

okay. i got it bad for y&r too.
but it doesnt end there, sometimes i catch b&b and oltl also.

i hate them though, and yell at them for being stupid, if that redeems me in any way. i doubt it, that probably makes it worse.

Dr. Laura is the best for "irritainment". If the kids aren't with me I will listen to her. The people that call in are asking for it, I think.

I want to see "Maid in Manhatten" too. It looks like it could be a fun and brainless movie.

Amy: ROTFLMAO Gawd...! I have the same problem...

I don't understand why "educated" equals not allowed to enjoy ones life...

I watch Osbournes, Anna Nicole (hell, we upgraded cable just so I could watch these 2!), Blind Date, 5th Wheel, Shipmates...

Not regularly, unfortunately.

But, my feelings of shame are reserved for: Making the Band 2 !

I absolutely hate that show, but I have to watch! I crave it every week! It has replaced cake and cookies, so I'm a little grateful. Seriously, tho, the show is soooo stupid, and I end up shaking my head and rolling my eyes, and telling dh abt it since he works nights. It really is a disgraceful show...

I watched Making the Band 1. I watch a lot of Boy Meets World, and even had a sexy dream about Rider Strong (Shawn Hunter - when he was in college, not the 6th grade Shawn!).

Also love love love Tough Enough!

And there is no shame in Barry Manilow and Buffy! They rule!

Oh, and my husband was appalled the other day because he discovered I know the lyrics to a Limp Bizkit song. I try not to like them, honest, but their songs call to me.... :

Oh, I am CRYING!! I *love* the term, "irritainment." I am going to try to use it at least once every day! LOVE it! It is a good way for me to describe my feelings about "A Baby Story." I watch it, judge the mothers out loud, and yes, I am explaining this all to my DOGS.

SDMummy, I am so glad that you Scott Bakula, too! I have had the major hots for him for a long time, and I also prefer him as Sam Beckett. Maybe because he was so sensitive, yet steamy in that role?

Jean

I love how the normally bold XM is so embarrassed that she has to use the small font!

I'm glad you like the term "irritainment". My dh told me about it a couple of years ago and it describes so much of what I watch and read. I also enjoy that word and use it as much as possible!

How's this for shame~

I used to listen to Dr.Laura myself! I loved to hear her rip people up!

But it was just a phase, I promise. And now that I think of it, like Springer, it probably would have been even more entertaining after a couple beers... irritainment!

I also have been occasionally buying
Martha Stewart Baby magazine... I really try not to, and Mike makes fun of me when I do... but they have so many cute projects in there... I just can't help it.

XM....

Do you know how good the MS Baby mag confession felt? I am dancing around right now.... if you close your eyes you can see me Sorry I had to rib you a little. Mainly because I think you rock and remind me a little bit of myself. Okay now I am rambling......

I have never, ever admitted to this in public--

I read regency romances

I hide them under the couch so nobody else will find out what I am reading.
