Nesting anyone?

So I think I drove DH nuts this weekend. :LOL Not only did I make 4 new dipes for the baby and 3 new ones for DS, I am beyond caught up on laundry, cleaned DS's, DD's and my closets and made some food for the freezer but I also had him doing a ton of stuff including cleaning the side of the house - even he acknowledged that it was nasty - anyone else?

Gosh I wish I could do all that stuff. This weekend, I cleaned the trash outta the car, then DH vaccuumed and cleaned the leather. We are putting the baby seat in tonight. I cleaned the kitchen and cooked. Went to church and to walmart and that was all I could do, my back hurts really bad if I am on my feet too much.

I want to make food, but nothing sounds good. I have a few things stocked up that I canned. Pasta sauces and such. I am also trying to keep on hand the fixings for ham salad, plenty of pasta and easy things to make after the baby comes. My mom is coming so she will cook for us for a few days. Then my AP group will bring food for about a week. They are awesome.

I cleaned the baseboards the other day and washed the front door! I am getting kind of silly.
I keep having chores for DH , which I think he is psyched to do. I have been a bit crabby lately, so it keeps him focused on something.
When I wake up in the middle of the night I think about all the things I want to clean and organize, but never get to it the next day. That is kind of frustrating.

I did a bunch of stuff last month, including making almost an entire month of meals for the freezer.

Last week I washed the baseboards and did a few other things.

Now there is nothing left to do. Everything is cleaned. We are just waiting.

We finished painting the upstairs. It looks great! I'd hate for the baby to think the house looks shabby.

Got some things yesterday to make some wipes. Cut the flannel last night and will probably sew them tonight. Later on today I have to work on a potholder for a swap I'm in on another board, some bookmarks for a swap, and on Henry's sweater. Just trying to keep busy!

Yes, I am officially nesting now. I haven't really nested at all the rest of this pregnancy up until now. I threw out a ton of magazines, been doing laundry like crazy, de-cluttering everything I can get my hands on... even wandered down to the unfinished side of the basement and de-cluttered a bit too. Going to soak the shower curtain liner, b/c it is grossing me out. Now, if I could just get some sleep and stop going to the bathroom all the time, I'd feel much more prepared for labor.

Not yet, but I really didn't last time (at home that is). I am trying to get a bunch of last-minute stuff done at work, though! :

What the heck. I called a painter and we're getting the outside of the house painted on Monday. Since we saved so much money on not having to buy baby stuff due to the generosity of friends and people who wanted to clean out their attics, we're using the money to paint the house, which really needs it!

And then I've scheduled a plumber to come one day before my due date to install a vanity. :LOL Hope I don't pop that day! I guess he'll understand if I have to cancel.

I'm also decluttering. The storage area of our basement has never looked so good! Oh, and there are no dirty clothes in the house either! :LOL

Well...you can shave by your reflection in my wooden furniture eat off my bathroom floor. You name it, it's spotless I know if I don't do it now, it won't get down for quite some time.

fun fun fun (and sore sore sore lol) Kitty
