A Question to those who have been chariting for a while.

Hi Ladies,

I was wondering something. Do you O at the same time every month, or can it vary?

This is my second month charting and my temps are way different then last month.

when i wasn't nursing (pre baby) i found my charts to be fairly typical over a period of time but there's always a crazy one in the mix, especially when under a lot of stress.

i'm still nursing and also charting and find my cycles differ wildly. mostly i'm o'ing very late and my temps are all over the place but a pretty clear picture emerges after a bit but I really have to look at the other signs too and not just temp. good luck!

I usually O on cd15, but I have O'd as early as cd13(twice)and as late as cd17(once).

I think I charted 3-4 cycles before I really saw my basic pattern. Illness, drinking alcohol and changes in your sleep schedule can all affect your temps.

I have never had two cycles exactly or even remotely alike, even before DD and breastfeeding, but I probably have pcos along with my endo... not gonna go to the doc about it because I categorically refuse to ever take any sort of hormone meds ever again (long story).
My charts usually only make sense after a new cycle begins and I can stand back and look at the entire cycle as a whole.

I am pretty regular and almost always O on CD17, but every woman is different.

I've charted on and off for the past three years. When my cycles are somewhat regular (ie I'm not annovulary), I O between cd 17-25. This past year I was annovulary a lot of the time before I got pg (incidentally, that was on cd 45 or something). There is a pattern but it often takes six months or so before one is evident (if you are anything like me, that is!).

Be sure you are taking your temps at the same time every day, that you have at least four hours of uninterrupted sleep before you temp and that you don't move at all to temp (even sit up). Once I got ultra strict about my temping, the temps became much more predictable. I chart CM too, so that helps to decipher it all.

Update

Well it's funny I asked that question a while ago, b/c this month I'm Oing early.

I guess it's a good thinking I'm tracking my temps.
