Underwear with no exposed elastic

Thread Starter
My 4 yo ds is having a terrible time with elastic. Not sure if he has sensory issues or what but I'm trying really hard to find some good underwear that have no exposed elastic. I tried BabyGAP and Children's Place but am I looking in the wrong places? Should I go somewhere online?

If anyone knows of any great soft underwear (boxers, briefs, shorts, whatever) please let me know!

Thank you!!

My son is the same way. Petit Bateau and Under the Nile both have underwear like this. I love the Petit Bateau ones, and I believe you can find them new on eBay.

One Petit Bateau source

Love all of the above, but the undies at www.hannaandersson.com are my absloute fav . i also love the full bum coverage--no wedgies.

My daughter, now age 6, is extremely sensitive to fabrics, textures, threads, elastic, etc.—you name it and it bothers her, but she absolutely loves her Hanna Andersson undies. The quality is great—perhaps more of an initial investment than some underwear, but they launder beautifully and last forever!

I have also heard great things about Hanna Anderson undies (they are much "bigger" than Hanes or the like, though, so be aware).

DS's solution, though, has been to go "Commando" and to wear very soft pants (last winter he would only wear soft fleece lined sweats).

The only undies my dd will wear are Hanna Andersson. I bought them when she started potty learning and has worn the same size for 2 years. The initial investment can be steep. 2 years in the same undies and none have holes or signs of wear.

Ds is very into the Hanes boxer briefs with the covered waistband. They also have no tags, which is nice. Kids Gap has boxers with a very soft elastic band, but they aren't as comfy as the Hanes.

Also, before you buy them you should call the Hanna Anderson outlets (even if they are not near you). If they have any, I have *heard* that they will ship them to you and you can get them cheaper. I have an outlet near me (Woodinville, WA) so I've never had HA ship to me.
