I'm just wondering if anyone has used the thread from ctsusa.com, and what you think of it. I've been told that good quality thread is made in Germany or Switzerland or somewhere other than America. At my Bernina sewing class, they told us to make sure the thread is wound crosswise (?) instead of just horizontally. The brands they mentioned were gutterman, metrazine(sp?), and mettler. Anyway, they really emphasized that we shouldn't use cheap thread on our Bernina.

So I'm wondering if anyone knows about the quality of this thread? It seems very inexpensive, but I don't know if that necessarily means cheap quality. (They also sell organ needles there for less than I got them in a coop, and they are a good brand.)

Anyone know, or have any experience with this thread? I'm getting ready to make all kinds of purchases for slings (fabric, needles, rings, thread). But I want to make sure I'm getting good quality.

TIA,
Cathryn
