Did you use ager ager? I've never tried it, how well does it work?

Yup, agar agar. It works well as long as you heat it up long enough and make sure the pH isn't too low.

Callum is quite chipper, and fever free this morning. Still has a cough, but not bad enough to keep us home. I'll see you all in a couple hours.

We're out...it's 11 and Grace just woke up. Since she woke a number of times last night I didn't want to make her get up earlier, but I was sure she'd wake up before now since Cam has done nothing but complain loudly and be obnoxious all morning.*

I have to go over to Halifax later on this evening, so Cate if you're going to be home then I would love to pop by to give you the remainder of what I owe you.

*Cam's mad that he's grounded on a PD day from school. He was hoping that he and his little buddy would be able to play all day long, use the Wii and so on. Not sure why he didn't think his grounding applied to today, but apparently it's extra-no-fair to be grounded on an in-service day. Whatever dude, maybe you should be doing as you're told and getting out the door on time for school instead of acting like a jerk, yelling at your father and siblings and just get ready to go. What's that old saying...don't do the crime if you can't do the time...

Do we have a plan for this week? Grace was telling me this morning that she misses her friends Rachel and Callum (and something about wanting to make them pumpkin pie, lol) , and her cold seems to have finally passed so we should be in.

The only barrier I can see is that Gabriel just started coughing today really badly, but Phil is supposed to be off...if he gets called into work I might have to see how Gabriel's cough is, I don't want to expose anyone to this cold it's freakin awful.

I don't know about everyone else, but it's already made it's way through our house, so I'm not concerned.

I can host. Callum seems to be recovered from his bout with the flu. At least he's eating this morning for the first time since Monday. I'm taking that as a very good sign.

We need to figure out a time for a dyeing party too.

Argggg, I'm out this week, mom's visiting, which throws Rachel off balance, and Rachel has a birthday party in the afternoon. I'm really going to miss getting together with you guys. Let me know if you decide anything about the dying party.

Lesley, I think that's the cold that's been doing the rounds in our house. I'm not sure about tomorrow--I have a work thing on in the afternoon, so I need to figure out the logistics. Is it in the mornings now? At Cate's this week?

If I can convince her to get up that early I might bring Ann, if that's ok. Probably won't happen because she's even less of a morning person than I am, lol.

In a fit of "please kids let mommy have 5 minutes of peace!" I broke out the playsilks for Grace and Gabriel...they are having so much fun! I can't wait to dye them up, but for now, man they are loving them!
