So i just got a serger, just a little Singer Ultralock....

After 1/2 of squinting and poking, I got the thing threaded.

Any ideas on how to learn to actually use the thing?? I can't take a class...has to be at home...

Thanks

I'm itching to make some mama pads!!

Threading is enought to make a person : :ignore

After threading have a nice :LOL

As to learning to sew with a serger just use some old fabric and just run it through to learn how the thing works. I never took lessons and didnt need them but I have been sewing for many years.

The best thing is just to play around with some material you dont care about.

Happy ing Enjoy

I HIGHLY recommend this book for learning more about sergers.
I have one of the older editions and it's so helpful.
