When my mom was breastfeeding me 24 years ago, she donated her extra milk!

That's cool! My mom has talked about a milk bank when my brother and I were little. Too bad they don't make it easy 'nowadays', I STILL have extra milk .

Totally awesome! My MIL wetnursed another baby. She says that at LLL meetings all the women took turns nursing one baby whose mom couldn't produce enough milk for the baby.

Cool! Mine too!

The local LLL organized donations for a little girl, is her name Lacey? I know she couldn't have anything but breastmilk for years and years. She's close in age to my little brother.

I just donated extra milk from May (a gallon or so?) to a couple with an adopted 3-month old. Told them to expect another donation next month...
