I'm so glad that so many of you wrote to our counselmembers, it really seemed to have an impact. They mentioned a few times how they had gotten calls and emails from all over the country and Canada, and that was a huge point on the news stations. I know that you ladies had a lot to do with that.
The Vice Mayor said that this was a public issue and compared it to having clean water and air, that was my favorite part of the night!
Has anyone here volunteered for the task force? I gave my information to the City Manager's office first thing yesterday morning.
