Okay, Who is Left *NOW*?

I'm still with child. Today I saw a friend who had a baby 12 wks ago, and she looks fantastic. I definitely have my eye on getting back into shape afterwards and this friend of mine is my hero at the moment.

These past few days, I've slowed down to a crawl, which is really unusual for me. I lay around in bed all day reading books and staring at the walls. Eventually, I mustered some energy to mop the floor and that pretty much did me in for the whole day! Last week, I was still working out or walking for an hour!

Of course, I wonder if this energy slow down means labor will start soon! :LOL

Seriously, I don't think she'll arrive until next week. I kind of hope not, because I'm having lunch with some old friends on Thursday and it would be fun to be able to go to that.

Me at 41 weeks. lost some mucous plug yesterday and today, low crampy feelings, and did acupuncture today. fingers crossed...

I'm still waiting, too. I tell everybody that the baby could be here two hours from now or two weeks from now. The hard part is the waiting while I'm so uncomfortable....

I am here and frustrated and annoyed because I cannot really walk anymore.

Still here. DH and I did the deed this afternoon. I figure, the baby got in that way, maybe we can get him out that way. :LOL

The calls have started. My dad and my mom (not married anymore) both called today to see how I was "hanging in there."

Still here as well

Although I'm feeling really crampy after two 2-mile walks today...so I'll keep hope alive. Tonight is looking good...

I say that every night :LOL

I'm still here, too! Praying I go into labor tonight/early tomorrow morning so I don't have to go to my appointment tomorrow afternoon and argue w/ doctor over inducing/breaking water b/c he fears another large baby.

Been really crampy all weekend....

Tonight is looking GREAT!

Still hanging in there too!
I am 40 weeks in a couple of days!
I am feeling pretty good- went to a wedding yesterday. I predict another week of gestation for me!

Wow! I feel like such a newbie here. Not "due" for another 2 weeks, but I'm still thinking a good week after that.

Heartburn is back w/a vengenance and I find myself slowing down more and more each day. Baby is low and if I walk/stand for too long it feels like Wee Bitty might just fall right out (I kind of wish)! We're still finishing up the last minute stuff and trying to enjoy these last few days of being a family of three.

Labor vibes to everyone who wants/needs them!

Still here....had some good ctx last night for about 4 hrs, but I was willing them to stop....and thank goodness they did!!!! Was down to every 7-8 mins and pretty strong. But...mama and daddy aren't here until tomorrow, so I told the wee babe NO coming out!!!!

But....after Monday Then I'll be begging for it to be done. Though...honestly...I do feel great still!

Hubby was just asking to today if I have the baby by Weds....will I be ready for the amusement park trip this coming weekend? Or...should he just plan on it being him and the boys? Um....no honey....I do bounce back fast....but not two days....LOL

technically due today, and bummed that I will be "late" again.

Feeling crampy and much more intense bh's today, really achy lower back, but no labor yet.

I hope that at my 40 wk midwife appt on tuesday stripping my membranes helps, it did nada except help me lose a bit of plug last wednesday at 39 wks.

Earlier this week, DH had promised me the babe would be here by this weekend.

This is what I have to say to him:
:

:LOL

I predict another freakin' year of gestating for me.

Holly, that's too funny about your DH. At least you know it won't be in two days. My DH keeps asking me questions like that... when are you gonna be able to do this? when are you gonna be able to do that?

I don't know! Hello! I've never done this before! sheesh

Too funny.

My mom came up to distract me for the weekend (yay, mommy!), and every time I winced or moved funny she'd ask, "are you in labor?"

um, I have no clue! I've never done this!

I'm due 8/17 and still here waiting. My first one was a week early so I expected this one a little sooner, but my first is hyperactive so maybe this one will have a laid back relaxed personality. I can hope there is a good side! :-)

Yep- still here as well. After a crazy week last week that involved infections, antibiotics, pain meds, sickness, a trip to the ER to check the baby (all me) and 3 stitches (my DD in the back of her head- her first stitches- the day after her second birthday)- I am hoping to evict this baby before something else happens! I actually feel good today- come on baby!

38 weeks and still trying to enjoy the anticipation, solo time with dd and dh prior to the chaos and just...BE.

I am still here too. Just waiting and waiting.... I am 38.5 wks today, had an ob appt and my first internal exam, it hurt like @#$%! I am only 1 cm dilated... which I kind of figured. Been feeling horrible for over a wk though, just lots of pre-labor signs, which is driving me nuts. Last time I gave birth at 39 wks, no signs of labor (but I was 3-4 cm several days before it happened), my water broke early in the morning and I immediately went into labor. I was hoping for the same thing this time, but it's dragging out. My ob offered to see me on friday, if I dilated anymore, he said he could induce. As miserable as I am, I want to avoid being induced, unless it is absolutely necessary, so I said thanks, but no thanks. Next appt is 8/22, we shall see what happens. Crossing my fingers that this baby decides to come out on his own before next wk.

Yep, yep. Still here and heavy with child. I could certainly be here for awhile. Technically 39 weeks today but really more like 38, and I keep trying to think of it that way. It has been so hot and I am more uncomfortable and cranky than ever, my poor DH. Prenatal this morning and I think I'll have them check my cervix, even though i know it will mean nothing! They said they teach Dh to check me? He's game but feels a little awkward, especially since our midwife is also our good friend!
Hang in there ladies! And labor vibes as needed! Hope to be posting your arrival announcements soon!

Ladies, don't think just because our babes have arrived, that we've abandoned you. Hang in there.....ALL of the August mamas are thinking of you. Perfect, gentle laboring vibes to you all - may your babies come out when they're all the way cooked!
