Okay, Who is Left *NOW*? - Page 3

So, I go to my dr apt tonight (apparently we have 10 days until the due date). We wait for dh to get home from work, pack ds up in van, pull to end of driveway, back up, go back in the house to get water, pull to end of driveway, back up, go back in the house to get snacks, take off. Spend 35 minutes in traffic to get to dr's 5 minutes early.

They don't have me in the system as having an appointment. So they didn't call me to tell me that the dr is at a birth. Oh - and my birth tub - the dr took a sticky note w/MY NAME ON IT and gave it to some other lady because she was there today and I wasn't. WTH???

And there are no other available birth tubs right now except for the dirty one that was dropped off about 15 minutes before we showed up. This office location is booked all day tomorrow except during my LLL mtg and closed on Friday, so tomorrow night we have to drive 45 minutes to a different location to meet w/a doc and *hopefully* get the birth tub. The guy who runs the birth tub "side business" (a dr and his son organize the whole thing) said that if I go into labor prior to picking one up he would personally bring one to my house and set it up for us. Well I should freakin' hope so! Just an irritating night over all.

Ok - thanks for listening... now to go bathe ds and read some inspiring birth stories that don't take place in the water. :

Thanks for saying that. DH read about peri massage and asked me about it several times. I'd heard from people here that they did and tore anyway and that some didn't do it and didn't tear. So it didn't seem worth it to me.

I already spend so much time exercising, eating well and practicing hypnosis that I just couldn't see adding in one more thing to do every day. Now I am glad I didn't.

Due tomorrow. I'm very anxious to have this baby, because my measly 12 weeks is ticking away. I had a nightmare experience of horrible threats from my job because the permission slip from my doctor saying I was too pregnant to work (at an animal shelter) didn't arrive in time. The government is so annoying. I keep wanting to do all the things I won't have time to do when I have the baby, but then I take a nap instead.

STILL PREGNANT!!!!

Biophysical profile yesterday gave the baby a perfect score. Good news because he's healthy and has enough fluid and the placenta is vital, but bad news because he's probably perfectly content to stay put for a while longer.

I'm 41w 1d over here---is anyone else "overdue"????

Waaa....

Thanks for letting me whine!!!
