Elevated white blood cell count?

Just curious if anyone else also has this at around 7 weeks. My nurse practitioner said the levels weren't to be worried about, but of course you mention something to a pregnant woman and she's going to obsess. I made the mistake of googling it, too! I know I'll be calling tomorrow for more reassurance.

Don't you wish they would just keep things to themselves sometimes?

hey ladylee - i work in an obgyn office and can reassure you that a midly elevated white blood cell count is considered a normal part of pregnancy. hope that helps.

thanks so much squeakermansmom. Of course at the time I didn't think to ask about specifics (ie-how elevated am I?) so now I obsess. Of course the nurse would have said something if there were reason to worry, right? Off to find something new to obsess about...
