The Power of Breast Milk!

This is just so bizarr- and I wanted to share!

About 2 months ago I went to the doctor, and among other things, I was hoping to have a large wart removed from my finger. The doctor said that because it was close to my nail, I would need to see a specialist and have her remove it with a lazer! I called to make an appointment and was told it would be a 6 month wait to get in to see the specialist.

I then remembered seeing an article posted here at MDC about research that showed that breast milk could cure warts. So I started putting bm on my wart multiple times a day. I did also use wart remover about 2-3 times during the last 2 months, to speed the process along.

My wart is now almost completely gone! There is only a patch of dry skin where it used to be! I wish so much I had taken pictures and documented this to publish as research. But I thought you would all find it to be super cool, anyway.

The power of BM!

Glad its working, probably much less painful then laser removal, too!

nak...

glad it worked on wart. wart removal can be very painful!

about 2 years ago my dd had a cyst like swollen thing on her eyelid. 2 drs visits later & we have ointment to put on 3xs daily. it started to get a little better but then it just stopped so i slacked on the ointment. it was a harmless thing caused by the normal organisms that live on our faces. dr said it'd eventually go away w/o treatment.

so months later i decide to try BM & lo and behold, it clears up w/in a few weeks. :LOL

i've also heard it works on pink eye & i just expressed some today to put into 8 weekold's nose b/c he has a little cold.

I have never heard this before- how cool!
My ds has a wart on his ankle and he would never let met put anything on it, let alone go to the Dr. for it.
How did you put milk on it- just drop it on? I can do that while he's sleeping.. hmm... we'll have to give this a shot!

Yup, I just expressed a few drops a number of times a day. At first it made the wart crack, and get really weird and eventually it killed it. I've now only got a small patch of rough skin on the spot, but I'm still putting milk on it at least once a day, to try to make sure it doesn't come back.

I hope you can cure your son's wart too.

Am currently treating a bug (spider?) bite on my foot and my son's excema (along with reg meds) with b'milk. Started using it on a wart on my hand after reading this. My son reacted to dust allergens at a church yard sale and I expressed b'milk into his eyes (all puffy and red and oozing) and the reaction totally cleared up in about an hour! Got to love the world's most universal medication....I dread the day I stop lactating! :LOL I'll have to go back to using the not so great stuff.

Here's one for you!

I had a fairly large mole removed about 5 months ago (DR. Glick in Mesa, AZ) - we got to talking about breastfeeding which he was enthusiastically for and said "unofficially" that it sure would be neat if I put some breastmilk on the wound nightly to see how it sped up the healing process - which it did!

I have a few small warts on my knees (makes shaving a #$##%$) and I think I'll need to try this out too! Every time they're frozen off they just spread!

I've used breastmilk to cure warts by my fingernails and TONS of other skin issues that arise. I put it on all sorts of rashes, etc. My dd now comes up to me with a mosquito bit and points to it and says, "milkie? Milkie dere?" :LOL

very cool!
i've heard it can be used for a number of things (i've put it in my daughter's eyes and on her bum), but i didn't know about wart removal.
BM is an amazing thing!

My DD walked into a catus and got spines on her shoulder (OUCH!)
I squirted a little BM on her arm and she had no redness or swelling after I removed them....
Afriend of mine said it was the antibodies.
(Not to mention I was able to pull them out with tweezers while she calmly nursed...)

Wow!

I have used BM to cure diaper rash and sometimes put on booboos at DD's request. LOL. One more to add to my list!
