geography software for preschool/K?

I'm going through geography with my daughter in a VERY relaxed way. I was wondering if there isn't some kind of decent software that goes through countries/continents? Something appropriate for Kindy/elementary school would be fine, we'd just take the basics from it right now.

I am doing something similar

with my kiddos and I found a website linked to think.com. I was bummed to find that they won't accept homeschoolers to use their services even though in Texas we are considered an unaccredited private school. *sigh* I have had good luck with carmen sandiego games and I need to look up the show. That would be cute. In the thread for a study room for hsing I found a link to a map place that has some great maps like prehistoric fauna and flora or inventions.

Good luck!

Have you considered getting a talking globe? We have the leap Pad talking globe and it is super. It is very appropriate to K and elementary.

DK has one called World Explorer and I think they have a US Explorer and a British Isles version as well. My son loved it at ages 3/4 and I don't think you have to read well (if at all) to navigate. I got ours from ebay. Actually all the DK software has been a hit here.
