How to celebrate decluttering success?

OK, I'm not quite there yet, but I have made a lot of progress on my August decluttering project. I am already feeling the benefits of less clutter, but it's depressing to realize that one is never "done" decluttering and organizing. I think it would help me finish my current project if I marked the occasion somehow. Anyone ever had a celebration of being clutter free? I wish I had taken some photos on August 1 so I could have "before" and "after" pictures to remind me of how far I have come ...

What about if you have a outting, maybe a picnic to spend time with your family. You could make food at home and take with and know that when you come home your house will be clean and happy to enter.

Or you could invite over friends to enjoy the space.

Good luck, I hope to have my house totally under control before my daughters bday party on the 1st of October even tho we are not having the part at our house!
