We've played both... I think. We just moved back from Germany and our playgroup had tons of board games and I think I remember these. My favorite is Schwuppibus, which is a Haba game. But all of them are good German quality games. If you read a little German, you might try Amazon.de.

Here is the link to Drops & Co.:

And for Eichhörnchen pass auf, Geschicklichkeitsspiel (Scrambling Squirrel) it's:
http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASI...491885-7505653

But if you look at the details, they won't ship it to the US. Maybe you have someone in Europe that you can ship it to and get them that way.

thanks for the reply,

no german here, but my dad is german. hmmmm. maybe that would motivate him to buy the games for us. (alas, probably not.)

scrambling squirrel looks fun, and isn't too much $. i wonder how difficult/frustrating it is. i wouldn't want the marble to get flung across the room in anger...

but i'm especially wondering about drops, b/c it is sooooooo adorable. all those haba games are so stinkin cute i can't stand it! but is is $$ (45$). what i can't figure out is if there is any strategy involved. is it really that much of a "game" or is it just all "bells and whistles," kwim??

thanks all!
