I tried some plain kefir today.............and all I can say is.......will I EVER get used to that flavor??? uugghhhhh
A few weeks ago, I bought some blueberry, but I threw that out because once I got it home I noticed it wasn't organic, and then I read the label closer and one of the first ingredients was.........HFCS!!!!!! I felt I was defeating any health benefits it may have had by it having that....
So today I manage to get the *good* kind but all they had was plain, no berry or peach or anything.
And I drank and ewww.....um, vinegar? Something like that. I'm just not used to this fermented thing.
another question........why is kefir better than plain yogurt? At least with plain yogurt, I can put in some finely chopped cucumber, lemon juice, dill, and I've got some GREAT dip......
