other than that we really enjoyed the concert! Especially my DD who was dancing to the mariachi music :-) and the gospel choir at the end was awesome (and that's not really my kind of music).

I'm glad it wasn't just me! :

We were on the lake front for the airshow and thought about staying for the concert, but the kids were done. That's great that it was a good concert.

The Kaiser Chiefs. I'm hoping we haven't exported them yet. Seriously, just don't- they give indie a bad name.

Aqualung, Goldfrapp, etc- like Radiohead but without the interesting bits. It just makes me want to crawl into a warm place and shoot myself.

All girl and boy bands, with a special mention for Ms Stefani (it's amazing how she's repackaged herself as a former girl band member gone solo. No-one would ever think No Doubt had credibility)

Avril Lavigne= Alanis Morrissette. Wherever Alanis Morrissette is now, that is where Lavigne should be.

There's more, but I'll keep the length down. I hate most modern indie, too.

i don't think there is any music i truly hate....... I cannot stand listening to any pro american, music. there is this one song i kept hearing in nashville that goes something to the effect of
"i'm in america where at least i know i'm free"

i told my friend "free to pay over inflated prices for gas and eat chicken mc nuggets"

*The Dead and most of all those Dead-wannabe-bands - I used to enjoy them until I lived next door to this couple who obsessed over them and for 2 years this is the ONLY thing that they listened to.
