I suddenly feel this urge to watch Better Off Dead now, darn you! I never tire of it. On the nostalgia front I also have to include Say Anything as well as Real Genius.

Spinal Tap, Best In Show, Waiting for Guffman and all Christopher Guest movies I never tire of. Trading Places I have a soft spot for and all of the Monty Python flicks as well. And of course, The Lord of the Rings trilogy and the 3 Harry Potter movies also.

I can't believe it but - Baby Boom with Diane Keaton. My mom used to watch that movie all the time and now I love it.

Something's Gotta Give
Runaway Jury
Basic
A Few Good Men (I have a Jack Nicholson thing)
The Firm

I am sensing a theme -

Has anyone ever seen the movie- The God's Must Be Crazy?

It was from the 80's I think, its about an Afrcian Tribe and a plane flies overhead and the captain throws out a Coca Cola glass bottle. The tribe finds it and decide its evil they have to get rid of it. I remember watching it all the time when I was little and thinking it was hilarious. I think they came out with a sequel that was really bad. But the original was great.

The Gods Must be Crazy is a great film! I forgot about that one. Another one I forgot to mention was Down By Law. Stranger Than Paradise was also great. And Harold and Maude...

Some of these posts want me to rent some of those & watch 'em all again... that's probably one of the few things I like about snowy New England winters...LOL...

Lets see:

When Harry Met Sally
Moonstruck
Crossing Delancey
Sleepless in Seattle
The Way we Were
Desperately Seeking Susan
The Sound of Music
Saturday Night Fever
Grease....

Also used to watch those Billy Jack movies on Sat. afternoon tv... does anyone remember those with Tom Laughlin & his wife? she ran an alternative school on an Indian reservation?...I had a huge crush on Billy Jack :LOL

I'm a bit of a movie addict so I probably could go on and on but my favourites that I never get sick of:

Sense and Sensibility
Almost Famous
Little Women
How To Make an American Quilt
Fried Green Tomatoes
The Story of Us
Now and Then
Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood
Anywhere But Here
Steel Magnolias
The Princess Bride

Most of them are "girly" type movies. Luckily my husband is into these sorts of movies so it's not a big deal if I watch them over and over.
