Name 3 ways you're nesting.

1. Cleaned out the garage
2. Cleaning out my bedside table to make it nice and tidy for when the co-sleeper goes there instead
3. Trying to crochet through excess bags of yarn (I used to have a major yarn-buying thing)

1. I'm vaccuuming at least once a day, but sometimes even twice.
2. I'm scrubbing things that haven't been scrubbed in months on a weekly basis now.
3. Boxing up old things/clothes/toys and finally getting it out of the house.

hmm. I'm not as organized or maybe not home as much as ya'll.

1. We are painting the remaining rooms in our house that haven't yet gotten a clean coat of paint since we moved in 5 yrs ago.

2. I've recently decided that I really don't need to keep the notes I took in graduate school courses that I will never teach a similar course in. I've pitched over a big black trashbag full into the recycling bin.

3. brought up (from the basement) NB clothes and a few diapers I made. This weekend I'll do more.

1. Murphey's Oil Soaped all my kitchen cabinets yesterday

2. Plan to make DH clean the baseboards 'cause baby will be here and crawling in like, only, 10 more months :LOL

3. Lists, lists, lists. I'm convinced that everything needs to be done/bought before the baby arrives. DH keeps reminding me that we'll still be able to go to the store!

I'm not really nesting for the baby. Right now, I'm slowly cleaning [one room at a time -or less!] for my daughter's birthday party on the 27th, and then to keep it tidy for when my relatives come for the birth. :P
For the baby though, all her clothes are washed and stored away where cats and toddlers can't get to them. Same for her blankets. Her diapers are up and clean, but I want to wash them one more time before she gets here.

1) I have FOURTEEEN bags of stuff to go donate, just in the last week.
2) I have all the 0-6, 6-12, 18 mo-2T, 3T, 4T, and 5T clothes in separate bins, and the diapers and blankets in another.
3) I have a growing stack of stuff to yard sale

Today is the first day in about a week where I havent done any nesting activities. I did work out though, and I knew that would be enough energy taken away for one day.

I organized my CD's in abc order yesterday, oh wait, does that count as nesting, hehe... my back was hurting and I couldn't do much yesterday.

My house is pretty disorganized and it starting really bothering me the second I got pregnant! So far this week I started...

1- washing all my sheets, I have a zillion pairs (my Mom is addicted to good sheets, so she always buys me them) they were in 3 different spots in my house, so dh is building shelves in one of the closets for them, so they can all be together. Some of them smelled weird from being stored, so I am rewashing and refolding them all.

2-Finish cleaning my sewing room & getting stuff together to donate.

3-cleaning the shower room, we just bought a big new plant for inside that room & I'm really excited about making it look cute and clean in there!

4-I also finally started freezing food for after I had the baby & I have been cooking a lot to try to save money.

Next week we are going to visit family and have my baby shower, so I'm sure that will really keep me in the nesting mode when we get back! I also got put on disability from work , if everything goes well and I can balance our budget right, I wont be going back. Oh happy day!

Are we suppose to be nesting already?? No one told me lol. Honestly I have yet to do ANYTHING in regards to nesting. I buy a thing here or there randomly for the homebirth but thats about it lol. My energy is all spent on chasing my 22 month around. Plus after a few weeks of bedrest Im fearful that if everything is ready and in order, ill go into labor and cant be having that for at least another 8 weeks hee hee! Ill live vicariously through you all as you all sound ot be nesting MADLY ( i was like that last time around). How did i go from being an ultra/ borderline OCD planner to a laid back 'happens when it happens' type of gal????

1. Organizing all the clothes everywhere (we have piles that didn't get folded/put away properly & I'm getting to those). I am done with the summer stuff, not sure when I'll move onto the winter. I probably wn't have time once Aaralyn gets here, but we won't need them till late Nov/Dec either.

2. Tackling lots of cleaning projects all at once no matter how much it wears me out (unusual for me, I try to divide them up & take breaks). Today I vaccumed most of the house (still need to do my room & finish DS's room) washed sheets from all the beds, cleaned kitchen table & chairs, swept kitchen, put away some clothes that have been in my LR for a few days, and I don't even know what else.

3. Getting my room organized so I can fix up the space for baby and just feel comfy in there in general. This has been an ongoing project for the past couple of weeks.

I'm in the planning stages...does that count.
Sit on the sofa... think of all the things that should be done... lie horizontal and meditate on it.
