sergering around a curve

So is there a trick to serging around a curve? I just got a serger and am having a hard time getting the fabric to turn....

This is the article that finally got me serging nicely. For some reason I had an "aha" moment after I read it.

And get lots of practice (serge wipes or napkins to get practice!)
